Mt.Kilauea is a volcano that makes up the southeastern side of the island Hawaii. Mt Kilauea has had more than 60 eruptions and has been erupting continuously since Jan. 3, 1983.Kilauea is thought to have killed around 80 people when it erupted without warning in the late 1780s.Most recently 2,000 people to evacuate thier homes.The volcano’s elevation is 4,091.Mt.Kilauea is a shield volcano which are the largest volcanos in the world.Kilauea is one of five volcanoes that make up Hawaii.
