Every year millions of organizations come to the aid of people with difficult issues such as poverty and hunger. Kids Can Make a Difference is just one of the many organizations dedicated to helping people. This organization provides many necessities to people in need. As a result, the organization has grown internationally and provides assistance to people in need all around the world. Kids Can Make A Difference provides international support for finding solutions to inequality and poverty, effectively provides assistance for children and low income families, and could greatly impact Oliver and Nancy in the novel Oliver Twist(By Charles Dickens), if the organization were around in their day. It promoted children to assist in their communities and create goals in order to accomplish what was necessary. “The major goal is to stimulate the students to take some definite follow-up actions as they begin to realize that one person can make a difference”(kidscanmakeadifference.org). In order to expand the effectiveness of society, the creators encourage children to effect the world around them and become educated about important issues they could potentially change as well. Kids Can Make a Difference also promotes children to step up in their community and help those in poverty or in need of help. The organization soon grew into a huge program, helping people on a global scale. “In 2010 KIDS became a program of the International Education and Resource Network (iEARN) the world's largest non-profit global network that enables teachers and youth to use the Internet and other technologies to collaborate on projects that enhance learning and make a difference in the world”(kidscanmakeadifference.org). To make the program more effective, Kids Can Make a Difference combined with another organization to increase the resources being used to assist those in need.
