Kidney stones come mainly in 4 varieties- calcium, struvite, cystine and finally uric acid. That said, nearly 80% of the kidney stones are comprised of calcium deposits, most notably the oxalate type.

While certain foods may promote stone formation in people who are susceptible, scientists do not believe that eating any specific food causes stones to form in people who are not susceptible.

Fortunately, because cutting such a vital and delicate organ carries a high risk of permanent damage, surgery is ruled out in virtually all cases.

When you are faced with the sudden shock of a kidney stone attack, it's good to know you can probably avoid surgical intervention or pharmaceuticals with their risk of unpleasant side effects.

So we have to take this problem very seriously. If we left without consulting any doctor then it creates dangers to the kidneys.

It always is a good rule of thumb when treating any ailment including kidney stones, 'the best way to treat it; is to prevent it'.

Sometimes the symptoms of a kidney stone are not all that pronounced. I know that I have had them in the past and have not experienced any pain, they are known as silent stones.

Typically there is some bleeding present that will discolor the urine, and there can also (and in most cases is) some serious problem with pain as the kidney stone moves around and tries to flush itself out of your system. The pain is associated with the tearing of the inside of your kidney as the stone makes it's way through your body.

Once a cat has chronic kidney failure, they will need special care and treatment. Kidney failure is irreversible and can lead to other health problems.

Treatments

Medical Treatment is to treat the patient at home using generic medication. I found two medications for kidney stone treatment, one is Uriflow, a natural product that eliminates stones by disintegrating them into gravel and cleansing
