Renal stones is a common problem worldwide with important impact in the heath and also in economic costs. Renal Stones is the consequences of a buildup of dissolved minerals located in the inner lining of the kidney, calcium oxalate is most of the time the maim component of renal stones but it also has other minerals. Stones are more frequently found in persons who do not drink the recommended eight to ten glasses of water a day. Renal stones are mainly plant in the kidneys, humans have been affected by urinary stones since centuries, and it is one of the most common disease of the urinary tract. The symptoms of kidney stone are related to their location whether it is in the kidney, ureter, or urinary bladder. At first, stone formation does not cause any symptom. Kidney stones that remain inside the body can also lead to many complications later, signs and symptoms of the stone disease consist of intense cramping pain, pain in the back side, blood in urine, urinary tract disease, urinary tract infections, obstruction of urine flow, and expansion of the kidney. There are couple of ways to prevent renal stones, one of them is staying hydrated, drinking the recommended amount of water per day, this is because when there is more fluid in the urine it is less likely that minerals and acid salts will attach together. The second recommendation is eating less salt, sodium causes water retention. Also maintaining the recommended weight, avoiding sugary drinks. Increasing citric acidic may also help to prevent renal stone, doctors have found that some patients with renal stones have a low intake of citric acidic, examples of citric acidic can be 8 glasses of orange or lime juice (Huizen, 2017). Doctors may give the patients in higher risk of renal stones medication also to prevent it. Treatments for renal stones is first concentrate on controlling the symptoms. Dissolution of a stone can cause a lot of pain. If a person has a history of kidney stones, home treatments could be acceptable. Patients who have never been through a kidney stone have to speak with a doctor. If hospital treatment is needed, a patient will be rehydrated via an intravenous IV tube, and anti-inflammatory medication should also be administered. Narcotics are most of the time used in order to make the pain of passing the stone sustainable.
