Personal Narrative It was noon and I was at my house. My friend name was bobby. Bobby had dark hair and was wearing a white plain t shirt. We were playing a game we both made up. It was kinda like baseball. We play in the front yard. There was some grass and concrete of the driveway. The First base was next to the fence. The second base was next to the driveway. The third base was next to the neighbor driveway. The game was like kickball but with baseball. But you don’t have to kick the ball. You hit the ball with a bat. So it is basically baseball but with 2 people. We were getting the things we need

“Did you get the baseball gloves” Asked bobby

“Yeah,” I yelled back. So when we

He threw the ball I hit the ball with the bat will all my strength and started running. The ball almost went over the fence. While I was running I was at second base and that's when I slid and fell on the concrete. My Leg was bleeding like crazy. I felt like I was gonna die. I told my friend to stop the game and the my uncle came to help me up. He brought me inside my house and sat me down on the couch. I could barely move my leg. Everytime I try to move it, it started to hurt. My uncle put so many bandages on my leg. After 20 minutes I could move my leg a little but it still hurts.

“Are you okay?” My Friend bobby asked.

“Yeah,” I said back to him after all this he asked if I wanted to come to his house for a little and I said yeah. When we arrived at his house, His dad asked me what happen to my leg.

“I fell down when I was playing baseball with Bobby,” I said

“ Oh are you okay,” Bobby dad said

“ yeah,” I said. So we were just playing video games in Bobby's room. After a while we got done my uncle picked me up and I was at my house. I took a shower and every time the water touches my leg it hurts just a little. After a while I got used to it. Now it doesn't hurt at all. Maybe sometimes when I’m running I will suddenly start hurting. Now every time I play the baseball game I made up, I get scared that I’ll break my leg again. So I make sure my leg is ok to play so I won’t slide

That is when I slipped and hit both of my shins on the metal. One of my friends asked me if I was ok. The baseball diamond has a magical effect on my emotions, which produce so much energy it seems to take over my body and mind. I’ll never forget my first baseball glove and bat. It was spring time in 1983, the snow had finally melted, robins were singing on bare tree branches and the maple trees were blooming. My father took me into town driving our Burgundy 1980 Chevy Malibu Classic. As we parked the car, I asked my dad” what are we doing here”?…

The crisp breeze rustled my hair as I walked out of my house on the fall September day with my dad drilling instructions into my head. It was my first Little League baseball game ever, and my dad wanted to make sure it wasn’t my last. Being seven years old and never touching a baseball was something that had scared me; a lot. I had no idea what to think about this foreign, petrifying, game could possibly be about. The car ride from my house was only a few minutes away from the fields where I would begin my baseball career.…

Starting first grade I thought we were the top dogs because we got moved down to the bigger playground with the bigger kids. Since they knew we liked kick ball so much they built a kick ball diamond for us. There was just so much to do in the shortest amount of time. Everyday was a new day, I never did the same thing, whether it was playing on the upper part on the monkey bars seeing who could hang the longest or playing football with the guys. I can remember my first year at kickball I was taller than most of the guys because they haven’t hit their growth spurt yet, so everyone wanted me on their team because I was the only girl once again that was better than most of the guys.…

Your parents had never really built an emotional bond with you. They were more like dictators, they forced you to be the three P’s: posh, proper, and polite.
