Khufu pyramid (The Great Pyramid of Giza)
Egypt is home to many unique things among them is the pyramids constructed by the laborers under the watch of the pharaohs. According to Butzer, Elisabeth and Serena (40), the pharaohs intended to create tombs for Kings such as Khufu to show appreciation to the gods. In doing the works, the pharaohs did not have the idea one of the pyramids would stand out as a great piece of artwork for many centuries to come. While designing structures, the leader had envisaged a pillar to immortalize the deceased kings. His idea was to design the architectural piece that would remind the people of the existence of the supernatural despite the immortality of the pharaohs.
