My youngest sister, Khloe, was born when I was twelve years old. She was that “oops” baby that people often have and almost pass out when they find out. I fell in the love the moment I saw her and she quickly became my little sidekick. Many think she is just a sweet and quiet little girl, but she is most definitely a ticking time bomb when others are not around. When Khloe was born the doctors believed she had swallowed amniotic fluid during the birthing process, because of this she had to stay in the NICU and she wasn’t able to stay in my mom’s room. The NICU had this rule that only those thirteen or older could come inside, meaning I couldn’t go in since I was only twelve. My dad decided since I was only three months shy of turning thirteen that we would sneak me into the NICU to see Khloe.
When you first walk into the NICU you have to go into this little room and put on a hospital robe and wash your hands for one minute before you can go into the area with all of the babies. After going through all of the meticulous steps involved, my dad finally walked me over to …show more content…
Along with her getting older she has gained quite the personality. She’s sassy, stubborn, and talks to much for her own good. My dad often jokes that God just looked down and laughed at him when Khloe was born. She somehow came out with the worst part of each of her older sisters. She was born with my stubbornness, Karley’s laid back attitude, and Kassidy’s whiny tendencies. My parents, however, say that she is more like me compared to my other two sisters. I don’t really consider this a good thing though. The only moments I remember from my childhood are all of the times my father threatened to spank me for doing things I wasn’t supposed to do, which was pretty much all the time.
