I love how he transitions his time and setting in the novel so that the book is not boring. The two characters that mostly made me emotional is Hassan and his son because he was such a sweet, caring, and good person. He did not deserve to have such a sudden death and so did his wife. Hassan and Sohrab stuck up for Amir at the time of need but to redeem his unatoned sin to Hassan he is helping Sohrab in guilt and respect. It crushed me when Hassan died so suddenly because I felt that he should of been alive to see his son grow up.
