Three of my key strengths are hard worker, absorbing, and gambler. First let us talk about the gambler, why did I but a gambler as one of the most three key strengths, maybe because I like taking the risk at the thing I am doing. Moreover an example of that, before I came to John moors year ago I was studying university in my country. Moreover I did not like studying there, although I could finish it in 3 years rather 4 years of studying aboard. However I told my dad I want to study aboard and try my luck whatever university and as gambler I had to take the risk of it, and turn out to be one of the greatest year of my life. As for the hard worker, something that most of the people knowing me is that I don’t sleep unless I finish whatever I am working on. When I was in high school a mathematic coursework was a

Moreover we were seven people who were a sign to take care of all thing that related to the meeting and I was the leader to them. we spilt the work, and it was the hardest day of my life because had to feed hundred people , and that was not easy we had to plan were the older one’s will sit and where will the dinner going to be at, and will it be enough. At the end of the meeting almost seventy people came to us and said that the meeting was one of the best meeting the family had over twenty years. Who am I? That is a very deep question. I think the only way I can answer that truthfully is by saying, I do not know exactly who I am, but I know who I want to become. I want to become a well rounded individual, someone who everyone likes and looks up too. I want to be someone my family can be proud of.…

When asked to define myself in one paper, I find it hard to show the details that I want to in the right light. When asked about my future after high school, I also have a hard time describing everything I want to get done because there are far too many things to name. The quote “ _____” (i want to be everyone and do everything and there isn’t enough life to do it all in) describes me to a tee, and I believe this college is the place I could do this in. Being a shy person for most of my life, many things were difficult for me. Specifically, last summer I had the opportunity for a summer job.…

But thanks to this experience, I have a little insight into what my father does, since he also raises chickens. Since this experience was unique to me, I think it was probably a little different for everyone else in the room. I don’t imagine everyone there being in the same position as I am, some may raise chickens themselves. I also do not think this experience may have meant as much to everyone one else. Since they are not having the same experience as me, many may have not taken the same things away from the experience as I…

My experiences over the last six years living in NYC have shaped me into the approachable and compassionate person I am today. I have been immersed in a melting pot with many different culturally and economically diverse populations. These unique experiences have broadened my horizons and allowed me to gain valuable communication skills and the ability to connect with people from all walks of life. I searched out opportunities to give back and help the people in my community both in volunteering in hospitals, educating high school students, and interning in private practices. I even traveled with the organization Medlife, setting up a medical clinic to provide basic medical care and education to people in the poor and underserved communities surrounding Lima, Peru.…

When I think about the boy who I was growing up, the young adult I am today, and the man I plan to be in the forthcoming years, one aspect of my life stands out to me far more radiantly than anything else: my culture, my skin, my identity as a Bangladeshi-American. There aren't many clubs or organization for Bangladeshi Americans such as myself. Make no mistake, there are certainly events for Bangladeshis living in the United states, many that I have attended due to various entreaties from my parents. These are event where the only language spoken is one that I barely speak (Bengali), the only music conversed about is that which I don't listen to or understand, and the only events discussed happen in another country that I have spent only a…

I am someone who smiles Someone always telling jokes to make sure no one thinks something is wrong So no one suspects a thing when they see my smile I am someone who fixes the feelings of those whose hearts are shattering like pieces of glass I am someone who loves to dress up and wear makeup so no one sees how truly I am From the bags from staying up at night to the red from crying, both under the concealer Tears behind my eyeshadow-covered eyelids Cracks underneath my red lipstick And the pain within the mouth that contains whitened teeth…

Where do I see myself five years from now? I haven’t ever been asked this question before so it never occurred to me to actually sit down and think about it. I’m seventeen years old so at my age kids don’t really think about the future and where we see ourselves five years ahead. I know for myself I am a live in the moment, looking for the next adventure type of person. Being asked this question really makes me slow down and think.…

Throughout the majority of my life, I was self-conscious and constantly worried about how I was perceived by others. As a child, I had always felt slightly out of place among my peers. I was just a little too quirky to fit into any of the groups at my school and I was too shy to force my way into one. I could not exactly understand what made me so different from my classmates and I desired more than anything to gain the self-confidence to express myself.…

The seven self-assessment quizzes I took were sustainable marriage, parenting style, relationship connectedness, how strong is your relationship, domestic violence, love, lust or a loser, and energy vampires. I was shocked and perplexed with the results of the sustainable marriage, relationship connectedness, and how strong is your relationship. The scores on the sustainable marriage and relationship connectedness were a little low however, I scored very high on how strong is your relationship. I felt as if one of the assessments was low they would all be low instead of 2/3 of them being low. With that being said, there is no doubt my wife and I have a strong relationship.…
