I want to create positive impact through my work. For instance, I want to utilize my skills and develop a working environment that all types of people can be comfortable and feel free to express themselves. I don’t believe that the upper level are always right; people makes mistake and so do higher position in the hierarchy. I want to learn how to give voice to value in the workplace. Even though I know how to do it, but there is still spaces I need to learn more.
How do you define your impact as an: auditor, investor, manager, product developer, marketer, senior executive, etc.?
As a follower (employee), I have the power to apply ethical principles to make a significant different. For instance, office harassment happens when people don’t react and say “no” to it. If the situation is happening on my behalf, I wouldn’t let it slide, instead, I would report it and try to find a way to make sure the bad guy receive the punishment they deserves.
What do you hope to accomplish? What will make your professional life worthwhile?
I hope to be able to influence the future development of people, organization, and industry to become more friendly for all people and treat everyone equally. I will do my work with great energy and passionate, while never to cheat on myself or the company by working solely for a wage. If I see something that triggers my ethical alarm, I will stand up and stop it before it worsens.
