In general, critical thinking is not an easy task and we must be trained in this areas become successful. Therefore, we learned in our assignment that critical thinking is defined as the discipline art ensuring that you use the best thinking you are capable of in any set of circumstances (Elder, L. & Paul, R., 2004, para. 1). In this assignment, I’ll reflect on where I used the 4 key components which are Clarify your thinking, stick to the point, Question questions, and being reasonable. For example, I was a Navy Recruiter from 2004 to 2007 and I was station at Fort Bragg, NC and I had an individual who had signed up to join the United States Navy in May 2005 and he was schedule to go to Navy basic training in November 2005. So, as time pass, I notice she leaned forward during our conversation so, I knew she was paying attention and was looking for me to make a mistake so, I would ask for clarification before I would answer the question (Elder, L. & Paul, R., 2004, para. 3).
In short, as the conversation was coming to an end, I caught myself getting frustrated and I was beginning to unwilling listening to their views because I was already in the military so, my answers are all right and their answers were wrong (Elder, L. & Paul, R., 2004, para. 4).
