This fervor has lead me to become the class representative in my sophomore year, in which I learned the importance of communication. Being club secretary in my junior year improved my time management and organization. As club president this year, I’ve been challenged to branch out from my comfort zone to lead and make decisions. Although they differ in duties, it is through those office experiences that I’ve witnessed the differences a group of passionate teenagers can make, the legacy they establish for future generations. It’s through Key Club that I’m one step closer to realization of what I want to do in the future-- to live a life of stewardship by serving the community and others around me.
Helping others through the idea of service and philanthropy is something that I truly feel happy of and am passionate about. If there is a chance for me to help any individual in any way I can, I will. Thus, I am grateful to be a part of Key Club, an international institution that does not only help me to be more aware of some important health issues around the world, such as maternal neonatal tetanus and pediatric trauma, but also provides me many occasions to volunteer, to help others within my school and community, to enhance my interpersonal and leadership
