As District Membership Growth and Reactivation Chair, I will make sure to work well within our district and reach out to schools that are potentially deactivating. In Membership Growth, I plan on establishing a goal with my committee and that it for our district to reach about 13,500 Key Club members by DCON 2018 in Oregon. By doing so, we will implement strategic ideas on how to increase membership throughout our whole district by creating effective advertisements for Key Club, tips on how to increase membership at a Key Club that is low on members, and make sure to share ideas with one another. I believe that the members are the essential building blocks for service at which Key Club strives for. For reactivating schools that no longer have a Key Club because they were deactivated, I will make sure to reach out the school's past or current Key Club President to find out the situation that they are in and make sure that they get the support they need in …show more content…
As MGRC, I will have the opportunity to communicate through all the LtGs of our district and make sure that every single school in their division is doing well. Most of the time when clubs do not pay their dues, it's because they're weak in the officer board or in membership, so I will work together with the Kiwanis advisors or Key Club advisor so that we can both figure out the situation that the club is currently in. In order to be really efficient as MGRC, I plan on promoting membership resources, reactivating suspended/inactive clubs, and chartering clubs. Also, I will be working really close with our current District Treasurer to make sure that all clubs are paying their dues on time and if clubs don't turn in their dues, I will do my best to find out what is happening between their club and try to understand the situation that they are

I was able to work closely with the other officers to coordinate events and direct the meetings, both crucial aspects of our chapter’s success. Through my DECA experience thus far, I have realized that it is not just a club, and what we do in it does not just stay with us in high school. DECA has been instrumental in my life and I have been enamored of it so…

Towards the closing of my junior year, I was elected to be one of the few student board members to my school’s National Honor Society. Adapting to the responsibility that a highly respected board member carries of such a prestigious group truly distinguishes differences between the ordinary member and those who collectively lead the organization. From coordinating induction ceremonies for incoming members, to communicating with local providers for community service events, being a representative of…
