Kevin Durant, many people know him as a professional basketball player in the NBA(National Basketball Association). His nickname which is known through Oklahoma City Thunder fans is snake because he “abandoned his team to go to a winning team.” Another name he goes by is an abbreviation of his name KD. The 29 year old star basketball player was born on September 29, 1988 in Suitland, Maryland. He started playing basketball with the Amateur Athletic Union youth basketball team. His youth team won a total of two state championship games. Then he went on to play basketball at the University of Texas at Austin after high school. Just after one year of playing college basketball, he was drafted 2nd in the first round of the draft to go to the Seattle SuperSonics. Then the team later moves to Oklahoma and renamed to the Oklahoma City Thunder. At the moment Kevin Durant is playing on the Golden State Warriors. He has many accomplishments such as being the NBA finals MVP and NBA champion in 2017, NBA’s most valuable player in 2014, 4x NBA scoring champion in 2010-12 and 2014, NBA rookie of the year in 2008, 9x NBA all star in 2010-2018, and NBA all star MVP in
