What is it like to look up to someone who is really good at basketball like Kevin Durant? Watching them dedicate every moment of their free time into making themselves better at something they love. Even better being able to say that they have inspired you to do the same thing that you are so passionate about. I have a strive to want to be as good as him someday. Knowing that all of this hard work and dedication will eventually pay off. Having the same passion as Kevin Durant is heartwarming knowing someone who does the same thing that I one day want to do is an inspiration. Seeing how good he is makes me want to work just as hard as he does to be just as good. Kevin Durant has such a big passion for the sport of basketball and he encourages others to do the same thing he does and to never give up. This has given me the confidence that anything is possible. Seeing the passion people have for a sport takes a lot of time and effort being put in. …show more content…
My moms often says “You spend too much time outside playing basketball and shooting hoops” but little does she know how passionate I am about basketball. Giving up time with friends to go to the gym is difficult but in order for me to be as good as Kevin I need to dedicate myself. Any submission or action that is completed just before the end of the time allotted for such actions. Skipping the movies while all of my friends go out or giving up my weekends for travel basketball tournaments are annoying but will be worth it in the long run. Having early morning practices at 8 am until 12 am is a long day for weekends. Getting up at 4:45 to practice before school then after school until about 5:30 maybe
