Keto diet or ketogenic diet is a high fat, low carbohydrate diet. It includes excessively reducing intake of carbohydrate, and changes it with fat. The reduction in carbohydrate sets your body into a metabolic state called ketosis. This is where the body produces ketones in the liver to be used as energy for the brain.
