What you were wearing or what you were drinking have taken precedence over the someone committing a felony against you. Sexual assault is also the only crime that being unable to resist assaulting a person is a legally accepted response. So Mr Milat why did you kill all those people 'oh I just couldn't resist' good point sir case dismissed. Doesn't exactly strike you as a a reasonable defence does it.

Without a change in opinion criminals will never be able to be brought to justice. In Kesha's own words 'If you want something to happen, you have to make it happen. Portraying black women as Jezebel’s by nature is a long -lasting stereotype. The jezebel stereotype is one that has been used to put down African American women since the beginning of slavery. Throughout history the white women were seen as pure, hardworking and respectable, while black women were always seen as promiscuous, seductive and tempting men. Maria Miller Stewart who was a servant, teacher, abolitionist and women's rights activist shows through her literary work "Religion and the Pure Principles of Molarity, the Sure Foundation on which we Must Build." that black women show the same qualities as any other race of women and that they don't deserve the title of Jezebel. Kesha Sebert, better known simply as “Kesha” of award-winning singer/songwriter fame, has been the center of attention amid recent controversy surrounding the rape allegations she made against her producer, Dr. Luke (Lukasz Gottwald). Kesha’s initial lawsuit was filed in California against Gottwald in October of 2014. This was shortly after her time spent in a rehabilitation center for an eating disorder, for which she blames years of abuse from her producer. Gottwald countered with a lawsuit claiming defamation and breach of contract- which has to be handled in New York due to a contractual “forum clause.” On February 19, New York Supreme Court Justice Shirley Kornreich denied Kesha’s request for a preliminary injunction.…

During our lives we are raised to respect one another, to understand the basic rules of consent and to realize that if a woman is unconscious that you do not initiate sexual activity. Our justice system is supposed to keep us safe and to punish those who break the law. Making perpetrators of sexual assault pay for their actions with a prison sentence teaches them and the rest of society that when someone says no or is not in a position to say no, it means no and you may not have sexual relations with them. By examining the Brock Turner case, it will become clear that his sentence was much too light for the crimes he was convicted of.…

All types of rape lead to the same outcome, which the victims fear in something if not everything.
