Kerri Walsh-Jennings: A Good Role Model

Kerri Walsh-Jennings is well-known for having won three gold medals in the Olympic games in a row. She was born on August 15, 1978 in Santa Clara, California. She has a brother named Marte Walsh in her family and grew up with athletic parents Timothy Joseph Walsh and Margery Lee. As a child she was very shy, yet she joined in many sports like volleyball and baseball. Sports are in her blood because both of her parents have either played volleyball or baseball. Schools that she attended were Baymonte Christian School, Stanford University, and Archbishop Mitty High School. About five to six days of the week Jennings sets out on the beach and trains/practices for about two-three hours. She trains with her current partner April Ross. Her and her partner April Ross not only train with each other, but with their coach. Jennings coach is Marcio Sicoli. Both Jennings and Ross have a good relationship with him. Marcio Sicoli is proud to be teaching both Jennings and Ross. Kerri Walsh-Jennings is very passionate when she trains. She wants to be a good role model for all three of her children. Jennings tries with all her heart and determination. Jennings has a very intense training schedule. Her training schedule consists of doing pilates which is a fitness trainings system that consists of different things. She does this about three times each day a week. She also likes to get lots of carbohydrates in her body and eat healthy. Kerri says that "I always have at least one 24-hour day of doing nothing physical.
