1992–1996: Charles Barkley era
In 1992, the Suns moved into their new arena in downtown Phoenix, the America West Arena (now Talking Stick Resort Arena). The arena is occasionally referred to as the "Purple Palace" due to its purple seats, which is one of the Suns' colors. All-Star power forward Charles Barkley was traded from the Philadelphia 76ers for Jeff Hornacek, Andrew Lang, and Tim Perry. Barkley went on to win the MVP award that season, 1992–1993.

Nash went on to win the MVP award that season. Amar'e Stoudemire and Shawn Marion were named All-Stars and first year coach, Mike D'Antoni, was named NBA Coach of the Year.
In the 2005 NBA Playoffs, Phoenix was the first seed in the Western Conference. The Suns swept the Memphis Grizzlies 4–0 and defeated the fourth-seeded Dallas Mavericks in the second round 4–2, as Nash forced Game 6 into OT with a 3-pointer in the closing seconds. In the Western Conference Finals, the Suns played the San Antonio Spurs who won the series 4–1, ending Phoenix's season, partly due to Joe Johnson missing the first two games of the

The legal process of gentrification is potentially one of the more easily argued cases, especially in a country that prides itself on its free market. Using 1520 Sedgwick as an example as well I will compare how the ideals of a free market economy would effect it with the realities of the situation. First of all, if the US was a true free market economy 1520 Sedgwick would never have been enrolled in the Mitchell-Lama program because such a system wouldn’t exist unless the government owned the property, which also would be contrary to a free market system. Following the fact that these programs do exist and the government does play a role in the economy, including real estate, we have to conclude that the government has to assume at least some sense of responsibility for the citizens enrolled in the Mitchell-Lama program. However, this does not just include the residents of 1520 Sedgwick, but the owners as well, for the government entered into an agreement with them as well.…

Besides Kobe Bryant, he is the only other person to win a Slam Dunk contest in his rookie year. The New York Times states “Mitchell edged Nance Jr., 98-96, sealing his victory with a close approximation of the 360-degree spin dunk that Vince Carter used to win the 2000 contest”. This victory only further established his place in NBA history as one of the greatest shooting guards to live and he even won a place in everyone's heart with this performance.…
