Louisville Kentucky, the largest city in the blue grass state, and the 28th most populated city in the United States according to ballotpedia.org (2013). Louisville is ranked higher than Milwaukee, Kansas City, Atlanta, Arlington, Cleveland, Oakland, Miami, and Minneapolis. All of these cities have their own respective MLB teams who bring fans out night in and night out, Louisville has more people in their city than all of these, yet Louisville does not have an MLB team. World population review (2016) also says that “about 30% of the population growth in all of Kentucky is in Louisville’s CSA counties. Milwaukee’s demographics according to world population review is “44.8% white (non-Hispanic 37%), 40% African American, and 17.3% Hispanic or Latino,” while Milwaukee is more diverse than Louisville, Louisville reaches the target market of white Americans, African Americans, and Hispanic or Latinos at a higher percent than Milwaukee. “The median household income for the Milwaukee-Waukesha-West Allis WI area was $56,247 in 2015” according to the department of numbers (2015) which brings in more than Louisville per household. According to top 100 media markets (2017) “Milwaukee is ranked 35th in the top 100 markets across the nation”, which is also higher than Louisville who is ranked 49th. Just like Louisville, Milwaukee has a major sponsor in their city. Unfortunately it is not a baseball company like Louisville Slugger, but instead it is a brewing company by the name of Miller Brewing who makes Miller lite. They both have big time sponsors coming from the same city that they are based out of. Just like Louisville Milwaukee has to compete with other sports teams, the only difference is that Milwaukee has to compete with two other big 4 sports teams while Louisville only has to deal with collegiate teams. The Brewers have to compete with the Bucks who are also in Milwaukee, and the Green
