Kenny Hardaway Massacre

In downtown Charlotte local residents have protested due to the fatal shooting of Keith Scott’s. The actions of the residents have been protesting with such outrage one protester protested differently. Kenny Hardaway a peaceful protester was in downtown Charlotte when the protest was at its worst. Kenny told Gaston Paper that “This protest has become way out of hand and is not being the protested the right way.” Our reporter then asked him “What are some ways you think we can protest peacefully?”. Kenny claimed he felt it was necessary to be verbal but, unnecessary for the use of vulgar language to be used. The first one is always make sure you have emergency supplies such as: safety goggles, bandages, the permit if necessary, and a bandana soaked in apple cider vinegar to help with the tear gas if there is any. The other important step is know your surrounding not everyone is gonna agree with you so, watch what you say. There are so many steps you can use to prevent yourself from going overboard meaning know your limit and do not go over it such as breaking and stealing merchandise and vandalizing property is never the answer. Respect the city as you would respect everyone else involved in the protest and people who are even not involved. Reporters are now saying that the curfew for tonight is 12 A.M and will remain until the protest get more peaceful. With the ongoing of the protesting becoming worse we hope this can keep you secure and protecting from times where you don’t think it’s the best place to be. Hopefully you use these steps to do it the way that best benefits you and can help you get to safety if needed. Kenny is a great example of how to protest peacefully and safely without anyone being harmed nor taking anyone sides when doing it.
