Beginning with the end in mind is imperative in determining how one’s goals can be accomplished through any given opportunity. An internship at Kendra Scott provides insight into life in the high-fashion industry, positioned around three components that generated the brand to become what it has: family, fashion, and philanthropy. As a second year student at Miami University in Marketing, I am particularly interested in product development and sales. My professional goal is to become a marketing manager in a specialized area such as advertising. Kendra Scott’s internship offers a unique opportunity to gain the professional skills to pursue my career, in which I can return . Contingent upon earning the opportunity to intern with such a remarkable company, I hope to achieve goals that I have been highly considering throughout my internship search, that directly align with my career goals. The first being work experience in a professional corporate environment, specifically in high-fashion, a primary interest of mine. Through this gain, I aim to understand how such professionals work together on projects, meet deadlines, and overcome challenges. With any growing company, I predict to witness the momentum of a fast-paced environment, working diligently to keep business running efficiently.
