Ken White received his Bachelor of Science degree in Education from Central Michigan University in 2001. He received his Masters of Education in Educational Administration and Supervision from Arizona State University in 2005. He holds standard certification in K-8 elementary education, Structure English Immersion and a principal certification.

In the Spring of 2014 Curry Elementary was designated as a “D” school by Arizona Department of Education. It was at that time the superintendent asked Ken White to leave Fuller Elementary School, an “A” school under his leadership to transform Curry Elementary. Today, Curry Elementary has been recognized by the Tempe Elementary School district as a school that scored, on the average, in the 97th percentile in growth, when compared to schools of similar demographics and fall to spring academic scores, in mathematics. This was for the 2014-2015 school year.
Curry Elementary has been recognized by the Tempe Elementary School district as a school that scored, on the average, in the 92nd percentile in growth, when compared to schools of similar demographics and fall to spring academic scores, in reading. This was also for the 2014-2015 school year. Curry School was recognized at the annual Back to School district wide event by the Superintendent as a turn around school lead by an outstanding leader, Ken White.
