1 Usability high The basic purpose of the use and utilization of IT in Kelly salons business is to increase efficiency and effectiveness. As a result, both the customers and staff should be in a position to use the technology to perform their duties. The system installed should not be too complex and complicated to pose problems but rather it should be easy to use

Thus, it is of great necessity that she puts into considering the scalability of the new IT systems she is about to install. A good IT system should be in a position to handle the increasing amount of work as more and more customers come to Kelly salon for haircuts. It should not scrabble as the work load increases.
4 Reliability high The IT system is intended to produce high results to ensure that it helps Kelly to take her business to the next level. Thus, the system should produce consistent results over a long period of time to prove that both workers and staff can trust and rely on it to produce accurate results. A good system should produce similar results under consistent conditions as well as producing the desirable results within the required time frame.
5 Availability high To make any significant impacts in the business process, the IT system installed should be readily available even during the odd times to ensure the needs and desires of the customers are fully met. Considering that customers have varied tastes and preferences, a good system should be always available to perform its duties as expected to serve the customer in question without fail. Considering that Kelly salon business cannot be described as a complex organization that requires networking and integration of data sources, enterprise systems cannot fit this organization.
12 Networks Medium Networking helps in linking two or more computers together and it is widely available and utilized in busy organizations that have more than one point of sales or operations. Considering that Kelly salon business cannot be described as one of the busiest organization, networking is not mandatory. However, Kelly can still install this serve in preparation for future business as number of customers increase.
13 Database high For any business to operate effectively, it needs to have an IT system that interacts with the user, other applications to capture and analyze data. Thus, Kelly must ensure she has a system that supports database.
