Mani Mina Keep The Passion Alive Analysis

“Keep the passion alive” -Mani Mina. The purpose of this essay is to interview a faculty member to learn and reflect about he or she. The faculty member that I have chosen is my professor, Mani Mina. I have never talked with him before this assignment nor did I tried to. The reason I chose professor Mani Mina is because of the way he taught the class. Out of all of my professors, I believe he was the most influential to me. They way he taught and his thinking style was complete different compared to any teacher, coach, mentor, or professor I had ever had. There was something out of the ordinary about him. Because of that reason, I wanted to learn more about him and his way of thinking. I asked many questions about his personal life and his beliefs. Professor Mani Mina’s life was very unique compared to most people I know. During class, he always talked about England and I made an assumption that he was born there. My assumption was incorrect; he grew up in Iran. He explained to me how the the school system was very different. It was very strict compared to the education in the United States. As he was asking me, the interviewer, all of this questions, I could tell he wanted to know more about me, to understand me. I am not going to go into too many details about my life because I am not the topic of discussion. After analyzing me, he gave me advices that would fit me personally. He explained to me to find the person in me, not to fit in with others nor for my family. He told me to have free spirit, keep exploring, ask good questions, find communities that help me grow and succeed, everything is connected, make mistakes, to build communities, and to walk a deeply
