Although these instruments are in the hybrid they tend to be heavily digitalized while also bringing cliche lyrics of Chevy pickup trucks and beer bottles. Not all artists use these cliche lyrics. Yelawolf who talks about his life growing up pretty often in his songs like “Whiskey in a Bottle” “Slumerican means: Slum American breed, gutter raised with worldwide dreams.” (Goldbaum, “I Met the Rappers Trying to Legitimize Hick-Hop and One of Them Licked Me”)
The hybrid allows those who are southern to relate to the second genre in this hybrid which the black community has claimed to be theirs. The second genre in this hybrid is heavy with beats, bass, and lyrics focused on communities and struggles one goes through. The hybrid takes the beats and heavy bass creating a dance between beats and guitars. Yet when I listen to the music I noticed that the first genre in some ways almost conforms so that it can fit with the second genre. When you listen to the songs in this genre the guitars become heavily synth like at times and depending on the artists. Additionally, if you were to listen to Yelawolf or Kid Rock they would pass off as another genre, however, Bubba Sparxxx and Big & Rich hold true to sound like the foundation of what the genre was made
