In the short story called "The Veldt" The characters are addicted to the tv and are spoil little brats. Well the same goes for "Kazoo Kid" Are similar. Although one is a video and the other is a short story they still share the same theme: Don't take things for granted.
In the story "The Veldt" The kids get mad because the parents decide to move away from there house for a week or two. The kids are furious when they discover this and throw a fit. I seems they couldn't live without Africa because they soon killed there parents. In "Kazoo Kid" The guy with the terrible 90s haircut says were his "special friend." The other kids in the background who feel rejected revolt with evil stares and they try to out do themselves to look better than the camera to feel accepted inside their community. In the end they probably fight to the death but this part is unknown in the end we are just left with an evil grin from the Kazoo Kid. If only the kids realized how perfect their lives were before taking actions into their own hands.

One thing is in Kazoo Kid he is a god and praised upon by six year old wanna be Kazoo Kid's. And Kazoo Kid is a living thing unlike in "The Veldt" which is about a robotic realistic movie theater like machine. Which the kids play in and use. "The Veldt" also has parents who try to teach there kids how to be good and that there the boss. In Kazoo Kid there is no adult. And nobody tells them what to do or when to do it. A major difference is the fact that the kids kill the parents and in Kazoo Kid the Kazoo Kid attacks the innocent 12 million viewers.
