Rourke got married twice. His first marriage was to Debra Feuer. Who’d co-starred as Kayser's colleague and love interest. Feuer, whose brother Ian played in goal both for West Ham United and the USA, had made her onscreen debut back in 1977 in Beyond Reason, written and directed by and starring Telly Savalas. She'd been in many popular TV shows - Fantasy Island, The Love Boat, The Dukes Of Hazzard - and in John Travolta's Moment By Moment. They separated in 1989. Because she revealed how Rourke tough guy image was largely a front. In fact, she said, when she met him he was hugely oversensitive, a walking mass of phobias, afraid of flying and entering the ocean for fear of sharks. After that inn 1990, Rourke met with actress Carrie Otis on the set of the steamy thriller, Wild Orchid. This couple married about two years later in 1992. But his second marriage did not sustain. In 1998 his knot with actress Carrie Otis had been broken down when Carrie Otis claimed that he slapped and kicked her in a fight and subsequently he arrested.
