Kayla Leadership

Kayla and I both discussed the importance of goals in being a leader. We both mentioned that leadership can be learned or that individuals may have specific traits that causes them to be recognized by followers as a leader. Additionally, Kayla noted that leadership does not require a specific role to be a leader, but I like how she stated that a leader empowers their followers. I think that this is very true as a good leader must earn the respect of their followers and motivate the team to reach team or personal goals.
One difference was that Kayla mentioned in her definition is that there can be different leadership styles. These styles and an individual’s traits may impact the areas in which a person leads, such as their career field,
