• Kayla was in a good mood when the QP met with her for a session.
• Kayla listened as the QP shared what it means to criticize someone.
• Kayla focused on how positive criticism by picking the right time and right place, having a calm voice, say what you like about the person first, ask if the person notices a problem, describe how the problem affects others, brainstorm solutions to change, write up a contract for change, and express love.
• Kayla reflected on her concern that her foster mother yells and fusses all the time at home.
• Kayla shared, “she is fussing at me and brother for fighting, saying mean things, not listening, refusing to do things she asks, and hitting.”
