Katy spent the next few years acquiring her GED, which she finished at 15. She then worked with Glen Ballard until her eventual release of the single "Ur So Gay." However, Katy Perry wasn't truly born until the next single, "I Kissed a Girl," Which took the music world by storm in the summer of 2008, when she earned a Grammy Award for the song.
