Life at Home
Katniss is a woman that lives in District 12. She has a sister named Prim and her mom, Mrs. Everdeen. Her neighborhood is very poor with electric gates all around them. They do The Hunger Games every year to show that the Capitol has control and that this is there punishment for trying to rebel. Katniss hunts for a living so she can sell the meat to a butcher or to the bakery. At the fence there is an opening that is unknown. When the electric turns off she slips through the gate to hunt. Making a Living
To make a living in district 12, Katniss had to rely on hunting, and selling Prim’s goat’s cheese. It was very hard because she either had to sell her game and buy food, or take it home and eat it.

This is the first time Katniss has seen tech like this so she is very shocked. Also, the people there dressed oddly. They had dyed hair and implants. In the Capitol, Katniss met her stylist. She was prepared for the tribute parade. Afterwards, everyone loved her and Katniss will most likely get sponsors. Unfortunately, all of the other career tributes are targeting her because she made a scorching entrance.

The Hunger Games
Before the Hunger Games Katniss went through training and she became stronger and smarter. She began to feel like she had a chance to win the Hunger Games. When she had the private session with the Gamemakers she thought that she just lost her chance to win the games. She felt like she had no chance to win the games until the scores were announced. She got an eleven and she was thrilled.

The New Life
After the Hunger Games, Katniss and Peeta returned to the Capitol. They went through interviews and shows. After parties and feast, they returned to their home. Katniss and her family no longer lived in the Seam. Instead, they lived in Victor’s village with Peeta and
