Everyone knows of the Hunger Games and the series Heroine, Katniss Everdeen. While it may not be obvious at first glance, Katniss and Hercules are comparable heroes. While Hercules faces legitimate mythical monsters such as Hera, madness, the Hyrda, and Cerberus, Katniss faces more human monsters, such as President Snow, Cato, President Coin, and PTSD. Katniss faces all her trials at once, while Hercules faces them over several years; Katniss's overall trial is fighting for her life. She does everything she has to in order to survive, jumping through every hoop thrown at her by the Capitol, until she comes to a happy ending at the end of Mockingjay.
