“Katniss,” said Rue as a tear drop was rolling down her cheek. “ you need to win. For me.” Rue died in my arms after she said that. I lied her head down. Peeta and I just sat there in silence.
“At least we don't have someone slowing us down.” said Peeta trying to make matters better. I gave him a dirty look. How can he be so heartless? Rue basically saved his life because if it weren't for her, he would have had an arrow in his face. I hated Peeta so much for saying that. He must have noticed that what he said was wrong because he apologized.
We couldn't hide here anymore. If we stayed, Cato would come and finished us off.
“Let's go to the center of the games.” I said.
“Are you crazy?” said Peeta getting up. “ that could get us killed?”
