What is a Hero? The definition of a hero in today’s world is a person who saves lives, who people look up to, and has accomplished what many others couldn’t have done. One example is Katniss Everdeen, the girl who volunteered herself for her sister. In the book and the movie, Katniss saved her sister, she is also glimpse of hope for her district, she then goes and wins the whole Hunger Games. First, an epic hero’s journey starts off with just an ordinary person that gets a call to adventure, they have some helpers to help them overcome this great adventure.
