Katniss Everdeen has just returned from the 74th annual Hunger Games and is trying to get her life back to normal. Her life has continuously turned upside due to capital’s extravagant events and expectations, most recently, The Farewell Tour. The leader of Panam, President Snow informs Katniss that a rebellion is beginning to start because of her. If Peeta and Katniss do not meet the President’s expectations of a perfect picture her family will be punished. By the end of The Farewell Tour, President Snow is disappointed that Peeta and Katniss do not show the appearance of Capital loving, star crossed lovers. When Katniss and Peeta won the 74th annual Hunger Games it pursued President Snow into making a Quarter Quell so that one of them wouldn’t survive. I like how the author uses this to help attach other characters to Katniss and Peeta. I disliked how the author uses President Snow to make the final decisions over the Capital. When President Snow announced that there would be a 3rd Quarter Quell all the victors became furious and wanted to flourish President Snow. I do not like how Suzanne Collins lets President Snow make the decisions all by himself without running it by other Capital members to see what they think about his
