Katie Trumbull's Observation To Study Musical Theatre

Katie Trumbull is a Senior soon to be graduate at Toledo School for the Arts who has been involved with theatre for most of her young life since she was eight years old and is planning to study Musical Theatre or Vocal Performance in college as a professional career. Recently she has appeared in some of her favorite musicals yet including The Music man (Marian) with Toledo School for the Arts, Fiddler on the Roof (Tzeitel), The Lion King Jr (Zazu), Children of Eden (Yonah) with Waterville Playshop and The Little Mermaid (Adella) She has also performed with the Toledo Opera since she was young and done many shows including the Operas Carmen (Ensemble), La Boheme (Ensemble), Torendot (Ensemble), Tosca (Ensemble), and Hansel and Gretel (Gretel). …show more content…
She learned IPA from a young age while studying there and numerous other musical techniques like reading music and languages like Italian and French. While she was there she participated in many shows including The Mikado (The Mikado), Pirates of Penzance (Ensemble), and Godspell (Ensemble). She has participated in OMEA All-State Choir for the last two years where she has sung with talented other teenagers with esteemed guest conductors. She would like to thank her wonderful and supportive Voice teachers Barbera Kondoski and Micah Graber who have Classically trained her voice for years, helped cultivate her acting skills, and helped make her a confident human being who isn't afraid to take risks. She would also like to thank her parents Dawn and Greg Trumbull who have always been there for her and given her support through her eighteen years. They have constantly driven her to rehearsals and dealt with her loud singing in the house. They have always been there for her that she couldn't ever possibly wish for any other parents in the whole entire
