In the speech “Stories from a home for terminally ill children” Kathy Hull shares many of her experiences at the palliative care center she developed. She established this center in order to create a more comfortable and happy environment for dying children. Kathy shared this speech at TEDWomen in 2016 and the goal of it was to help everyone realize how important children's hospice care is and how it can be improved. When Kathy tears up and shares stories of the children, those are forms of pathos that allow the audience to connect with her. Developing a Palliative care center is the main way Hull develops her ethos but it is continuously developing throughout her speech. Logos is always used in the support for all of the points Kathy makes in her speech. When used correctly a rhetorical appeal can be the factor that truly changes a reader's opinion on a subject or persuades them to get involved in
