"Near Dark" was at times a cringe-worthy vampire movie unlike any that people had seen at that time, and with her blood, and gore scenes her film is still making people cringe. Bigelow did not stop there, in fact, her next film is in my opinion, one of her best, and in 1991 she released "Point break".
