Hello. I, Katharine Hepburn, am known for the leading lady in Hollywood for over 60 years, but am also known for being a box office poison for reaching out of society’s norm. I had progressive parents who fought hard for social change; my mom was a feminist campaigner and my dad was urologist educating the public on venereal disease. Ultimately, I became an outspoken and confident woman, with the intention to change society through my wide range of performances in film, TV, and theatre. My resistance to conform to society’s expectations of women has left a notable mark and lasting legacy in American society. My influence in women’s fashion and film allowed women to wear trousers and created a new view for female roles in movies respectively
