"Life is hard, after all, it kills you." My name is Katharine Houghton Hepburn, I was born in Hartford, Connecticut on May 12, 1907. I have 5 siblings and I was raised by very wealthy parents, who encouraged me to speak my mind, and take care of my body and get it to its full potential.

When I was a young I was considered a "tomboy". I would play with my brother Tom. Tom and I were best friends. I couldn't get along with the girls at my school, so I'd play with Tom. My father always considered me the better athlete of the two, that lowered my brother’s self esteem level because he didn't get praised for his athleticism.
When I was 14 years old I found him dead. We decided he had either committed suicide by hanging himself, or he could've been practicing a magic trick my father had taught us. After that I decided to take his birthday, November 8th, and pass it as my own. …show more content…
After I starred in multiple movies, word started to get out about my behavior offset. Instead of admiring for my ways, my fans were shocked at it. So then I returned to Broadway to play a part in “The Lake”. Everyone who had bought tickets for that production soon deserted it because of my appearance. Things didn't get better after that. I only had 2 hits and many failures in which gave me the nickname “Box-Office Poison.” After my many fails, I went back to be a Broadway performer. There I performed in “The Philadelphia Story”. I was a hit! I had finally made a comeback over years of nothing but
