Karmen-Personal Narrative

Every comment, touch, exchange of endearments, whisper or wink caused Duke's anticipation to grow ever more intense. Whilst the teasing and banter was enjoyable, and added to his appreciation of the woman, it also increased his desire to do something about it, and prove himself to be a man of his word, and to discover if Karmen was a woman of hers. Not that there was much doubt in his mind she would be. Apart from the few hours he'd slept, there wasn't more than five minutes had passed that his mind hadn't been filled with imaginings of what he'd love to be doing with, or to, Karmen. However, the natural eroticism, and not-as-innocent-as-she-looked aura which she exuded and was so blatantly obvious to Duane, was apparently not sensed by Daisy. …show more content…

As glad as he'd been to see Karmen's ability to jump in and save them, Duke had been just as pleased to see her, too, lost for words, only a moment after. The woman didn't do a very good job of hiding her reaction to his deliberate drawing of her attention to Karl's uniform, but Duane said nothing as her features returned to their previous benign expression. There'd be plenty of opportunity for that later. "Bye Kurt, thanks again." Duane waved the man off, then watched Daisy saunter away with

I figure we should purchase bus tickets to Vegas to cover our tracks, then steal a car, and hide it until we're ready to leave. That way, when the theft is reported, we're at Daisy and Kurt's, and won't come under suspicion. After, we can go shopping, and buy you some suitable attire." He slid his gaze slowly down Karmen's body, allowed it to linger on her cleavage, then lowered it to her feet, "Proper walking shoes, with flat soles," and was grinning when his attention returned to her face. "Or we could hit the mall first. Ladies choice, unless you have other ideas altogether?" No harm in asking, Karmen had already displayed her smarts enough that day for the thief to value her opinion. "Whichever way, you'll have plenty of confessing to do at Church in the morning." Not that he'd be

By the looks of it, Karmen had been right about one thing, though perhaps it had been quite an obvious statement. After all, why in the world would he have even the slightest interest in someone like Daisy, when she was right under his nose? Yes, now that she thought about it, that one thought was ridiculous in every way possible. Not only was the blondie uptight and pretty much a bore, but she was also plain in terms of looks. On the other hand, she couldn't say the same about Kurt.…

Most people imagine a teacher as someone who is in their late 30’s or older teaching in a classroom. Many lessons are taught in the classroom, but many more lessons are taught outside of the classroom. My cousin Keisha and her daughter, KaLeiah, have been the greatest teachers I ever have had in my life. KaLeiah is a three-year old, a tall, lean, energetic little girl with beautiful light brown skin, just like her mother. She has dark black afro hair, and mix of shades of brown eyes, which has filled me with the will to open my heart and mind to the world.…

Andrew O’Kula A small streak of pink began to emanate from a slim point along the horizon as the late afternoon slipped into the evening. There had not been a cloud in the sky to ruin this beautiful picture the sky had created all day. And being that it was still early in June, that had turned out to be a very long day. Our hands were covered in dirt while our arms glistened with a thin sheet of sweat.…

Another hot summer in Idaho at another family reunion. I chased after my dad and brother’s cloud of dust; reving my ATV’s (all terrain vehicle) engine I whipped around the land my great great uncle homesteaded on. My confidence grew as did my speed until my wheel caught and spun me right into a log that pierced through the fender and into my leg. It was the first time I ever blacked out. When I came too a few seconds later I was alone; high on the trails of the Sawtooth mountains, blood gushing from my shin.…

I sat there in the hard seat of my desk and waited patiently. The scent of Lysol was overwhelmingly powerful in the room, but I knew by the third week it would be overpowered by the smell of musty children and chalk dust. I could not wait for my new teacher to saunter up to me, eyes full of admiration, and give me my paper. I had worked hard on it for nearly two months during the summer prior to this new school year. Looking around the room at my new classmates, it was easy to tell who had done the summer assignments, especially with their conspicuous faces.…
