This is a great look if you are wanting to see how other countries run throughout the world. People could say that they hate communist countries and everything else that could make when they know nothing about their beliefs and the way they run their government. The author made amazing points about how enticing and conflicting Marx 's life and ideas came to be. One of the points that I personally enjoyed reading about the most was where Marx would target specific kinds of people or countries with his ideas and how the ideas should be interpreted but drew out the exact opposite of each of these. …show more content…
They informed about the beliefs and ideas of early communism, or Marxism, and how Karl Marx came to express these ideas. Also, to show how his ideas compared to western democracy to show how much better Marxism was better in the eyes of the middle class people along with the peasants of under-industrialized countries. I think that this writing is fairly effective. It lets you feel the ideas of countries controlled by communism and lets you form your own opinion on the communism countries through learning about the origins of the ideas through Karl Marx. I feel like the writing would be stronger if there were excerpts of all or most of the papers presented in the writing that Karl Marx had wrote. Those would allow me to get an even better feeling for his writing style and more of an idea of where his ideas were composed from. This piece was very enjoyable in the end though, not dull or unimaginative, but very interesting and moving. I feel like I got to learn a lot about Karl Marx and communism itself so I could get a better understanding of countries across the globe. I would definitely refer this book to any one of my friends. It provides you the information to form an educated opinion about most countries people today in the U.S. say they hate although they know nothing about
