However there are distinct differences between the three, namely that of participation in the government. In the United States so long as you are a citizen and are not a convicted felon you have the right to vote. That is something that should exist in a perfect society, a equal ability for all to participate in the decision making of the government. Additionally there is the concept of rights that must be addressed. Again the American Declaration of Independence has an excellent line that of “certain unalienable Rights, that among these are Life, Liberty and the pursuit of Happiness” (Declaration of Independence) which outlines what rights an individual in a perfect society ought to have. Finally, there is the issue of justice in a perfect society. This concept is unique in a perfect society as no one should break the laws that would require punishment by a government. There are other justices out there beyond the law, there is justice in seeing that no one is denied a chance to learn to read and write, there is justice in mediating disputes between two individuals with different viewpoints, and there is even justice in deciding the fate of an unborn child. With this in mind there needs to be a hierarchy structure in society that is as egalitarian as it is accepting of new members. On that first point gender and race equality should be a non issue. As for the second point all levels of society should be accepting to members, whether they pull themselves up or fall down. More that point, position in society should be earned not inherited to a degree, particularly with regards to money. So long as everyone is offered a base level of opportunities any further opportunities and the individual 's position in society should be based on the individual effort and initiative one puts into their life. This being said, there still is the need for someone to fill jobs at every society level. Let us face a truth there are few people that would jump at the opportunity to be a bin man, and rightly so it is a dirty job. However the solution is outlined above. Those who are not willing to put effort into their lives will be relegated to these roles. Individuals who have initiative and put effort into their lives will be rewarded with highly desirable jobs such as ceo’s, politicians, and astronauts. Furthermore these varying degrees of job occupations would create a proverbial carrot in front of individuals whom might be lacking motivation.
