As a human being gets into anorexia it is really hard for them to stop. Someone well known for having anorexia is Karen Carpenter. She was a victim of anorexia and died of anorexic problems. It all started when she was a teenager. Karen would get called “chubby” at school and she began to lose lots and lots of weight. Anorexia is a lack or loss of appetite for food. “Known as a medical issue, it is an emotional disorder characterized by an obsessive desire to lose weight by refusing to eat.” Also anorexia affects women’s health and almost everything in her life. Then the individual is scared to gain weight. This specific eating disorder known as anorexia is a life threatening situation. The worst thing of having this eating disorder is that it ruins your image of how you look and how to you act. When you have anorexia, the desire to lose weight becomes more important than anything else.
