Kareem Abdul Jabbar was a professional basketball player that really excelled in the National Basketball Association. He first was a dominant player in high school while simultaneously leading his team to an astonishing 71 consecutive wins and three straight city titles. In 2000 the National Sports Writers dubbed Alcindor's team "The #1 High School Team of the Century." Then he moved on and played for the UCLA Bruins and he still dominated, becoming the college game's best player. They are alike because just like in religion it’s something you do, you believe in, you cherish, and follow all rules in rituals in. As you can see basketball isn’t that much different as you can see in Kareem he was a big time star in that sport and did a lot of great things while playing. But the key is how he got those accomplishments and that was by putting his blood, sweat and tears into the game he became so good.
