The passing of Adam made me realize that it will never be about how much I achieve but how I make myself and others feel. I began focusing my efforts on motivating, empowering, challenging, learning, and opening up. For example, I got excited about learning for intellectual growth. Instead of masquerading my true feelings through humor, I revealed my thoughts and vulnerability.
