Even with a fixed knife or the blade engaged on your folder you can still strike with the back edge of the karambit blade to strike (think that a piece of steel slapped upside your head won’t hurt?) because once you’ve engaged you don’t back-off or retreat. You want to make every strike count and you continue your counter-attack until the threat is stopped.

You might as well hit something while bringing the arm back and if it is an impact hit instead of a cut, then that is fine as it will still do damage.
When using the karambit folder as an impact weapon you will strike with a hammer fist and also by using the retention ring in a similar fashion to throwing a ridge hand strike.
Your target areas are many: the temples, bridge of the nose, base of the skull, sternum, chest, arms, hands, legs, groin, anywhere that you can kick, punch or elbow is a viable target.

Next he weaves his right arm between the opponents legs, hooking the karambit behind the knee and driving forward with the right shoulder into the thigh while pulling with the karambit.
If 'player B' tries to kick, 'A' blocks and strikes the thigh and passes the leg overhead. maintaining pressure to keep him off-balance 'A' finishes with multiple
