Deadlines
Human and Written Resources Plan and supervise chapter philanthropy events.Serve as the chairman of the Philanthropy Committee.
Work with the New Member Chairman to present information to new members.
Implement Kappa’s philanthropic strategy and promote a culture of giving.
Track service hours.
Plan donations to the Kappa Kappa Gamma Foundation.
Educate the chapter about the Fraternity’s philanthropic strategy.
Assist in planning the philanthropy round during Membership Recruitment.
Understand and implement the Fraternity’s Risk Management Procedures regarding philanthropy events.
Serve as a role model for the rest of the chapter.

Holding a signature fundraising event each year.
Funds raised shall be divided among RIF, the Kappa Kappa Gamma Foundation, and local charities.
Partnering with a group in the community that supports children’s literacy to host at least one serviced-based event (i.e., Reading Is Key) each year.
Reading Is Key events have three elements:
Underserved children (especially those in kindergarten through third grade).
Live reading with activities and crafts.
A book distribution where each child gets to take home a book of his or her choosing.
The Foundation’s mission is to support the lifetime development of women through the funding of educational programs, financial assistance and preservation of Kappa heritage. It is an expectation that every chapter, alumnae association and individual member will annually donate to the Foundation.
The Foundation offers:
Confidential aid (e.g., Rose McGill Grants)
Undergraduate and graduate scholarships
Museum support
Education and training (e.g., Every Member Education Trainers, GIRLS Academy and Leadership Academy)
