Who do you think Kanye West is, A rapper, a producer, or just some angry black man who stole the mike from Taylor Swift in 2009 ? A lot of people have already came to the conclusion that Kanye West is some narcissist dude who only cares about the man in the mirror. At the age of 20 Kanye was a known for being a producer at Roc-A-Fella records creating hit songs for musical artist like Jay-Z and Alicia Keys. After being made fun of for wanting to make music, Kanye soon dropped his first two albums College Dropout and Late Registration. With these two Album Releases Kanye was still the underdog of hip-hop and was still the joke of the industry. In 2006 Kanye and a highly respected rapper, 50 cent's , got in a feud over who was the better rapper.The deciding factor of the two rappers was to drop an album on the same days and decide by album sells. So, in 2007 50 cents dropped Guns N' Roses While Kanye dropped Graduation which killed 50 cents in album sells. In Kanye’s Graduation he experiments with Euro-disco, House Music, and even Gothic or Hard Rock sounds. In one of his songs off the album, “Homecoming” ,he features the lead singer from the band Coldplay to do the course for the song. Kanye was one of the first Hip Hop artist to combine the two genres of music into one song. Stronger , a hit single off the album Graduation used a variety of different house music beats to make the song more “upbeat” as Kanye would say.
